Your school library hosts events to bring the community together around reading and learning. You can browse all upcoming and past events from the patron portal.
How to View Events
- Click Library Events (or Events) in the sidebar menu.
- Events are organized into two tabs:
- Upcoming — Events that have not yet taken place
- Past — Events that have already occurred
- Each event card shows:
- Event type (Book Club, Workshop, Story Time, Author Visit, Exhibit, etc.)
- Date, time, and location
- Capacity (if the library has set a limit)
- Whether registration is required
Registering for an Event
If an event shows "Registration Required", contact your librarian directly to sign up. Online registration is not yet available in the system.
Event Types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Workshop | Hands-on learning session |
| Story Time | Read-aloud sessions, usually for younger students |
| Book Club | Group discussion of a shared reading |
| Author Visit | A guest author speaks about their work |
| Exhibit | A display or showcase in the library |
| Reading Program | A program launch or wrap-up event |
If you have an idea for an event, you can submit it to the librarian. Click Propose an Event in the Events section of the sidebar (or the button on this page) to fill out a proposal form. You will receive a notification when your proposal is reviewed.
