Logging Books in a Reading Program

1 min read 10 views

Once you are enrolled in a reading program, you can log every book you finish to track your progress toward the program's goal.

How to Log a Book

  1. Go to Reading Programs in the sidebar.
  2. Find the program you are enrolled in.
  3. Click Log a Book.
  4. Fill in the form:
    • Book Title (required) — type the title of the book you read
    • Author (optional) — the author's name
    • Date Read (required) — the date you finished reading. This cannot be a future date.
    • Notes (optional) — your personal reflection, review, or thoughts about the book
  5. Click Submit.
  6. Your progress count for the program increases immediately.

Tips

  • You can log books that are not in the school catalog — just type the title and author manually.
  • If you accidentally log a book before enrolling, the system automatically enrolls you first.
  • There is no penalty for not reaching the target — the goal is personal motivation.
  • You can log multiple books on the same day.
