Tracking Donations

When your library receives donated books, you can track them in the system.

  1. Click Donations in the sidebar menu.
  2. Click Add Donation.
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Donor name -- who gave the books (required)
    • Donor type -- individual, organization, government, etc.
    • Donation date -- when the donation was received
    • Item count -- how many books were donated
    • Notes -- any additional information
  4. Click Save.

What you'll see: The donation is recorded and appears in your donations list. You can search donations by donor name.

Tip: After recording the donation, you still need to add the individual books to your catalog through the Catalog or Import Catalog pages. The donation record tracks the overall gift; the catalog entries track the individual books.
