Tracking Donations

When your library receives donated books, you can track them in the system.
- Click Donations in the sidebar menu.
- Click Add Donation.
- Fill in the details:
- Donor name -- who gave the books (required)
- Donor type -- individual, organization, government, etc.
- Donation date -- when the donation was received
- Item count -- how many books were donated
- Notes -- any additional information
- Click Save.
What you'll see: The donation is recorded and appears in your donations list. You can search donations by donor name.
Tip: After recording the donation, you still need to add the individual books to your catalog through the Catalog or Import Catalog pages. The donation record tracks the overall gift; the catalog entries track the individual books.
